Buena Film Festival 2022

This is the 7th Annual Buena Film Festival, a 24-hour film challenge (sponsored by the Buena High School Film/TV Program) for Southern Arizona high school and middle school students.

On Friday November 11th at 4:00pm, all registered teams will be given the competition prompt and instructions. Students have the next 24-hours to write, storyboard, shoot, edit, and export a 2-5 minute short film.

NOTE: During the competition portion of the Film Festival (from 4pm on Friday to 4pm on Saturday), students will NOT be supervised by the school or the festival.

All film submissions must be received NLT 4:00pm on Saturday (films submitted at 4:05 will not be accepted for full points).

Once all the videos have been turned in to the Judges at 4pm on November 12th, the Judges will score all the films. Their results will be collected and prepared for the awards presentation.

At 7:00pm (Nov 12), we will host a screening of all* films followed by an awards ceremony where winners are announced and given trophies. This will occur on the big screen at Buena High School (doors open at 6pm). Tickets will be sold at the door for $5, though all competitors receive 2 free tickets to the Awards Ceremony.
